Yes, it's an old street, but our pipes on our property are newer, about 1986. They came back yesterday morning and checked the repair, then repaved that spot in the street, so I think it's okay for now. Here the water is managed by a nonprofit company set up by the county, with an elected board in charge of it. They're pretty good, except that a lot of the charges are with flat fees, so our use reductions don't make a whole lot of difference, though they make some.
